Fozzy ‘Judas Rising’ Tour Melbourne

Not many Australians can say they’ve partied with Chris Jericho for his Birthday, until Friday night anyway…

For the first time in 5 years Fozztralia was alive and loud… very loud, celebrating Chris Jericho’s 48th birthday in style! It may be a little cliche but the wait was well and truly worth it, as Fozzy raised the roof and broke the walls down! The party atmosphere was well and truly in effect as Chris Jericho celebrated his birthday, and was quick to point it out on a number of occasions!

Fozzy have cemented themselves as main stayers in the rock scene, with their latest album “Judas” reaching mainstream success in the U.S with the title track, “Painless” and “Burn Me Out” all reaching the top 20. It’s easy to see why they have accumulated such popularity with such an energetic live performance, hopefully one day our Australian audience will elevate Fozzy to similar heights in our pop saturated top 40.

The chants of “Fozzy, Fozzy, Fozzy, Oi,Oi,Oi” rang loud throughout the entire night, with Jericho stating it was his favourite chant ever. Y2J is a born performer with a charismatic energy, engaging with the crowd throughout their performance and stealing the show with the addition of his signature light up jacket, making for the ultimate Rock ’N’ Roll Front man!

The 90-minute set was filled with a perfect mix of new songs, classic hits and even some covers thrown in for good measure. All in all Fozzy are a huge must see, and it’s great to know that even in 2018, Rock ‘N ‘ Roll is still alive and well…

Do yourself a favour and catch Fozzy live!
